The girls’ basketball season kicked off on November 12, 2009 and with an outstanding 15-20 female athletes suited and ready to practice. Many were new athletes, and it was exciting to see returning athletes ready to kick off another great season.

The girls varsity team played their first game on Tuesday December 1, 2009 against Skyview High School at the Alameda Tournament.  Unfortunately they lost, but the lady Saints did not stop fighting. The second game on the lady Saints’ basketball roster was West High School; this was a game the ladies were really looking forward to. The Lady Saints went out there ready and pumped to play and came home with a win that night, 50-30.  Way to go Ladies!

The female athletes do not just go out there to win games; they go out there to support Jefferson High School. The first home game for the lady Saints it Monday, December 14, 2009 against the Manuel Thunderbolts.  COME AND SUPPORT THE LADY SAINTS!!!
