It was the last pep assembly the class of 2010 will attend, Friday, April 16th.  Besides saying goodbye to the seniors, another celebration included the presentation of a $9,000 scholarship to Yahaira Membreno.  Awarded by Education First, this scholarship is granted only to Jefferson, North and West High Schools’ students.  Yahaira is the first place winner.  Other events included a teacher’s dance-off, introduction of the prom royalty, and a slideshow made by Yearbook featuring all soccer, baseball, track & field, and tennis athletes.  Finally, Mr. Little gathered the student body, sans seniors, in a chant looking forward to the 2010-11 school year.

    Congratulations! It’s great to see our Saints get rewarded for such hard work, hopefully this will inspire other students to do well in school.
